#1 site: at the main street of Kanaiwa, Japan
One of the on-going projects of Moon Kyungwon and Jeon Joonho, the “Manhole Cover Project” was installed in the Kanaiwa as a part of the “Kanaiwa Residency Project.” Following the manhole installation at the entrance of the Tate Liverpool Museum in England, this manhole cover was created by combining the design of pine trees, the symbol of Kanaiwa and the city, with their slogan “MY FUTURE WILL REFLECT A NEW WORLD.”
