“The Ways of Folding Space and Flying” is currently being featured in the special exhibition Our Paradise, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Culture Station Seoul 284.
First presented at the Korean Pavilion of the 2015 Venice Biennale, The Ways of Folding Space & Flying is a video installation that explores the historical and geographical context of the Korean Pavilion in the Giardini. Blurring past, present, and future, the work reveals humanity’s creative desire to make the impossible possible, while also continuously invoking fundamental reflections on existence and the future in a contemporary world fraught with uncertainty and instability.
