The New Romance: art and post human exhibition opened at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) in Sydney on June 29th, 2016. MCA’s Anna Davis and The National Museum of Contemporary Art’s Hong-chul Choi cooperated together to bring together 18 participating artists from Australia and Korea for this project. This exhibition reflects the current time period through the ruminations of what it means to be human through exploration of post-humanism, science-fiction, science, biology, robotics, media, and technology. These topics are further explored in a variety of programs during the course of the exhibition from June 30th until July 3rd. This programming includes a variety of opening events such as artist talks, performances, workshops, lectures and related programs.
One program in particular, The Future Worlds Panel Discussion on July 3rd organized by Anna Davis, brings together four participants that includes an Australian artist, curator, and philosophers for presentation and discussion on topics aroused from the News From Nowhere Project.
For an interdisciplinary exploration of predictions and possibilities about the future and how they can emerge from the present.

New Romance 전시, 시드니현대미술관
2016년 6월 29일 시드니현대미술관Museum of Conteporary Art Australia에서 ‘뉴로맨스New Romance: art and post human’의 전시가 열렸다. MCA의 Anna Davis와 국립현대미술관의 최흥철이 공동 기획한 전시로Australi와 한국 작가 18명이 참여하였다. 이 전시는 지금의 우리 시대를 다시 돌아보게하는 진화된 포스트 휴먼, 즉 Si-Fi, 과학, 생물학, 심리학, 로보틱, 미디어, 테크놀러지를 통해 인간의 의미를 반추하는 내용으로6.30~7.3 동안에는 전시와 함께 다양한 오프닝 이벤트로 아티스트톡, 퍼포먼스, 워크숍, 강연 그리고 포럼이 진행되었다.
특히 7월 3일 진행된 Future Worlds Panel Discussion은 뉴스프럼 노웨어 프로젝트가 던진 화두를 중심으로 아나 데이비스와 MCA의 교육프로그램의 기획으로 4명의 오스크레일리아 작가, 큐레이터, 철학자등의 발표와 토의가 진행되었다.
