L’emozione dei COLORI nell’arte, an exhibition exploring the significance and symbolism of the tradition of reproducing colors that has existed for centuries across human history, will be held at the Castello di RivoliMuseo d’Arte Contemporanea in Turin, Italy from March 14 to July 23. The public display includes an extraordinary collection of over 400 works by 125 artists and other practitioners from around the world, dating from the late 17th century to today. The exhibition, which was co-organized by Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, Marcella Beccaria, Elena Volpato, and Elif Kamisli, presents works that trace the symbolic meanings behind the pigments that man has extracted from nature, the use and implementation of various colors in human culture, and the logic of the reproduction of colors. Furthermore, the works examine human history through colors and the meaning behind the reproduction of colors embedded within history.

이태리 토리노에 있는 카스텔로 디 리볼리 현대미술관(Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea)에서 전시가 3월 14일부터 7월 23일까지 열린다. 세계 125작가의 400여점의 작품이 선보이는 이 전시는 수천년동안 이어져 온 인간 역사에 재현된 색의 의미와 상징을 고찰하는 전시이다. 캐롤린 크리스토브 바카르키아와 마르셀라 베카리아, 엘레나 볼파토, 그리고 엘리프 카미실에 의해 기획 진행되었다. 인간이 자연으로 부터 추출한 안료로 부터 인간 세계에 적용된 다양한 색상의 사용과 색상의 재현 논리들이 의미하는 상징을 추적하고 있다. 색을 통해 나타난 인간 역사와의 관계에 주목하고 그것들이 내재하는 재현의 의미를 소개한다.
